Kid's Glen

The Kid’s Glen at the San Antonio Highland Games and Celtic Music Festival continues to grow each year. In 2009, we will continue to have the traditional tests of skill: Tug of war, sack race, "haggis" toss, 3-leg race, pillow joust and egg & spoon race. We are also adding the Artists’ Gallery, hands on crafts, storytellers and a Scottish Sing Along.

The San Antonio Highland Games Association is proud to introduce the updated Texas Scottish Heritage Award for the 2008 games. The restructured award allows for a participant from 6 to 17 to complete all of the requirements to earn the award at the event. After completing the requirements, the patch can be purchased for $1. Yearly rocker bars are also available in the Kid’s Glen.
